2D to 3D Conversion and Multi-View Conversion Software | Tridelity 3D Technologies

TRIDELITY offers content conversion from 2D to 3D and from 3D to multi-view using the latest technology in depth-restoration.
The process is based on the reconstruction of the 3D scene by generating a depth map and interpolating the scenes into n different views.

This service is offered in two different qualities for stereo to multi-view conversions, both of them with an optional analysis of the video. The analysis is done on a selected range of one minute length which can be extended if desired. Every further minute will be charged additionally.

The conversion from mono to stereo is only possible using the highest quality conversion. Converting Mono to stereo will not result in great pop-out effect and should only be used together with the production of an additional CGI animation.

Optional: Analysis
The analysis will show if the content needs pre-processing and point out any disparity violation. Disparity violation could render the film or part of it improper for the conversion, for example videos using cameras arranged in Toe-In will result in poor converted material.

1 - Automatic conversion without analysis. Complete automatic process with no analysis.
Here the video is processed as received from the customer. Neither pre-processing nor post processing is done. This option is only available for conversions from stereo content to Multi-View but not from 2D material.

2 - High-Quality conversion using pre-processing of stereo content.
The stereo content is optimized through corrections on any vertical disparity, color irregularities, and other artifacts that might corrupt the depth map creation. The video is than converted and the result is again processed to correct any artifacts.

Delivery

The videos are delivered in AVI format, using H264 or similar codec. Uncompressed Video is possible but the delivery time increases. The delivery might be via post or ftp.
